I have downloaded and installed ColdFusion 8 on my local machine. The installation process was surprisingly easy. The total time for the download and installation was only 10 minutes! The installation process was as simple as installing any other program. The installer provided easy steps and detailed instructions on how to complete the installation. As of now, I have installed ColdFusion with all of the default settings. I plan to get into more of the details next week. Browsing through the Adobe website and many other forums I have heard alot of praise for Adobe Flex over the use of flash. This is another topic I look forward to exploring over the next couple of weeks.
